CIYOTA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to teach Biology and Chemistry across O-Level and A-Level classes at CIYOTA Secondary school. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, deliver hands-on laboratory learning, and prepare students for UNEB examinations in a dynamic and diverse refugee settlement environment.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Biology and Chemistry, or a BSc with Biology & Chemistry as teaching subjects.
- Registration with the Ministry of Education.
- Minimum 2 years' secondary school teaching experience preferred; outstanding fresh graduates may apply.
- Strong knowledge of the UNEB curriculum for Biology and Chemistry (UCE & UACE).
- Proven ability to conduct laboratory practicals safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with sensitivity in a refugee settlement context.
- Proficiency in English; Swahili or knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
